ENVIRONMENT AND GENERAL SERVICES, INC. was originally founded in 1984 as what was popularly known as Electrolux General Services Inc., under the Electrolux Group of Companies. Today, EGSI is an independent leader in the housekeeping and manpower service industry.

We are proud to say that from our modest beginnings in 1984, we have grown to be one among the top players in the cleaning industry, thanks to the highly motivated, dedicated men and women of the EGSI family of employees. Our employees’ commitment, adherence to quality working standards and EGSI’s uncompromising efforts to provide modern, top-quality cleaning equipment and environment-friendly cleaning supplies are the principal reasons that bring us to where we are now.

Acquired by Asian Petroleum Corporation

2006

Became a member of a worldwide organization called International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA)

2007

Obtained certification from ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System

2010

Upgraded to ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System

2013

EGSI was acquired by Viridi Environment Inc.
